A few important notes to adhere with health and safety recommendations:
    * Only 1 parent may attend with each student
    * A limited number of people will be admitted at a time to avoid overcrowding
    * If you did not register your child on the dates above, you may contact the school office at 660-885-3353. If you wish to register virtually, this method is encouraged.
    * Remember to wear face coverings and social distance both in the building and while waiting outside
    * We have planned for one way traffic inside the building. Please enter through the front doors and exit through the bus doors.

  • CLINTON HIGH SCHOOL-In an effort to cut down on person to person contact CHS will not be doing in-person registrations this year. Website Tutorial
Our district website, www.clintoncardinals.org, is a great place to visit when you are seeking a variety of information.

In the video tutorial below, we will show you where you can find information that will be helpful to you throughout the school year.

**Please note-Important Back to School information is accessible on our website by clicking the Return to Learn banner image.**

District App

For parents, students and community members, the Clinton School District App is designed to offer one place where you can access the most needed information in a mobile, on-the-go format. You can download the district app through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Search for "Clinton School District".

The app provides calendar events, current news from your child's school and the district, access to school websites, sports/activities information, district notifications (including snow days), a staff directory with immediate connection to phone and email, access to PowerSchool for grades, attendance and meal balances, breakfast/lunch menus, ability to make online payments, AND MORE!

Some things to note:
*When downloading the app, select "Allow" to receive push notifications with the latest news and updates from the District.

*When adding the app to your phone, make sure you go through the "Start setup" procedures. Completing this step allows you to customize the app to receive information from the school(s) that your child(ren) attend.

*Whenever you open the app and receive the "New Content" prompt, be sure and choose "yes". This will ensure that you are always viewing the most up-to-date info.

PowerSchool Parent Portal
One of the best ways for parents to stay informed on their child's progress in school is to create a PowerSchool Parent Portal account.

PowerSchool is a secure internet-based website that will allow you to easily keep track of nearly everything your student does while at school. This service will allow you to view your student’s attendance, grades, schedule, food service balance, progress, assignments, emergency information, and more. You can also download the PowerSchool app to your mobile device.

The district has created a short video to guide you through the process of creating a Parent Portal account. Please click the link below and follow the simple steps to create your account. If you should have any questions please contact your child's school office.

**Please note-The video above was created using the District's previous website. The instructions are still the same, but you will now find access to PowerSchool by clicking on the PowerSchool quick link button below the banner images on our website.**

Connect with us on Social Media
The district uses a variety of methods to communicate with parents, one of which are our social media outlets.

Everyday during the school year we share pictures and videos from inside our classrooms, so you never know when your child might show up on our page! Our social media outlets are also a great way to stay informed about upcoming events, announcements and those winter snow days!

Make sure you like us on Facebook (Clinton Schools). To ensure that you don't miss any of our posts, you will also need to choose "see first" under the "Following" tab.

You will also find us on Twitter at @ClintonMoCards.

You can find our social media directory, which lists classroom accounts and our social media guidelines here.

Breakfast and Lunch Information
You can access breakfast and lunch menus on the district website under the "For Parents" tab or using the "menu" quick link under the scrolling pictures on the home page (August menus will be added soon). These menus can also easily be accessed through the district's mobile app.

Parents can send/bring money to the school or can use our online payment system, RevTrak, to make payments. RevTrak can be accessed under the "For Parents" tab or using the "online payment" quick link.

Immunization Requirements
Do you have a child entering kindergarten, 8th grade or 12th grade? Students in these grades have certain immunization requirements. You can view these requirements here.

If your child is still in need of immunizations, please contact your child’s physician or the Henry County Health Center (885-8193) to schedule immunizations before school starts.

**Please note-Students who have enrolled in Virtual Learning, are still students of the Clinton School District and must have up-to-date immunizations as well.**

If you have any questions you can contact the district nurse, Julie Balke at 660-885-2247.

School Start/End Times
Do you know what time your child starts school? What about dismissal time?

Please refer to the table below to see start times, dismissal times as well as what time doors open to students at each building.

****Please take note that due to extra safety protocols being put in place this school year, we are also implementing the arrival/dismissal procedures listed below****

  • Parents are to stay in vehicles and are asked to not walk their children into school or enter the building at the end of the day to pick-up their children (CECC parents will walk their child to the front doors to be signed in by school staff. Please adhere to social distancing guidelines while waiting in line).
  • Please only use the designated drop-off and pick-up locations.
  • Doors will not open at each building until the times listed in the graph below.
  • Students are asked to remain in vehicles or stay at a distance from the entrance, and each other, while waiting for the doors to open.
  • All students must wear a face covering when entering the building every morning and when exiting every afternoon.
  • Students will report directly to their class (CHS students can not report to class until 7:40, and will report to the cafeteria for breakfast, the gym or library and will socially distance in these locations).
  • If eating breakfast at school, students will eat in their classroom (CHS students will eat breakfast in the cafeteria, adhering to social distancing guidelines).

District Text Messaging System
It is always our goal to have the most up-to-date contact information for our families. One of the ways we will reach out to parents regarding important events, school closings, and safety alerts is via our text messaging service through School Messenger.

If you received text messages from our district last year AND your cell phone number has not changed, there is nothing further you need to do.

If you did not receive text messages from the district last year OR your cell number has changed, there are TWO very important steps you need to take.

1). Provide your child's school with the cell number where you wish to receive text messages.

2). After updating your cell phone number with the school office, follow the simple steps found here. You MUST opt-in to receive text messages from the district.

Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures
We know that drop-off and pick-up expectations can be confusing, especially if this will be your child's first year in a new building.

The maps at the links below were created to help alleviate any confusion and to ensure the safety of our Cardinals. We ask that parents refer to the maps to learn about entrances and exits at each building, where "bus only" lanes are located, and to let us know if you have any questions.

Henry Elementary Map
Clinton Intermediate School Map
Clinton Middle School Map
Clinton High School Map

Some things to note:

  • Due to safety protocols in place, parents are not allowed to bring their child into the building or enter the building at the end of the day to pick-up their child.
  • All students must wear a face covering when entering the building in the morning and when exiting the building in the afternoon.
  • Henry Elementary School car riders MUST be picked up in the car rider line notated on the link above. To keep all of our students safe, we ask that parents do NOT park in the church parking lot or the school's north parking lot to pick-up students. For a student to be picked up in a vehicle, parents must enter through the car rider line.
  • New procedures were implemented last school year at Clinton Middle School.  Make sure you refresh yourself with the maps above. To reduce wait time and traffic congestion on Clinton Street during morning drop-off, please pull forward to the end of the circle drive so that six vehicles can unload at one time.
  • We appreciate your help in keeping our students safe during arrival and dismissal times. If you should have any questions, please contact your child's school office.

After School Care Program (Latchkey)
Enrollment is now open for CECC, Henry Elementary and Clinton Intermediate School's After School Care Program (Latchkey)

The Latchkey Program runs from the end of the school day until 6:00 pm at each of the three school listed above. If school is not in session, Latchkey will also not be in session. The after school care program will follow the safety protocols required by the district.

Enrollment forms and parent handbook can be found here on our District website.

If you should have any questions, please email Lori Shannon at lshannon@clintoncardinals.org

Bus Routes
When bus routes are posted, they will be found here.

Please be aware that a transportation enrollment form must be completed for any student who will be riding the bus this school year. This can be completed at this link.

All transportation-related questions can be answered by calling our transportation department at 660-885-2644.

Please refer to our Return to Learn plan for bus safety protocols that will be implemented this school year.
