The Education Foundation for Clinton Students Inc., in partnership with the Clinton School District, is excited to announce the launch of an online donation portal for the Home Run for the Future capital campaign. This new online option is designed to make giving easier than ever for community members and businesses who wish to support the construction of a softball/baseball complex for the school and community.
The "Home Run for the Future" campaign is already making great strides, thanks to a generous $750,000 lead donation from the late George R. Lilleston, which covers half of the projected cost of the complex. Additional support from local families, businesses, and alumni is also contributing to the campaign’s success. With contributions now surpassing the halfway mark, the newly launched online portal provides supporters with a simple and secure way to donate from anywhere. Every gift brings us closer to our goal of constructing modern, safe facilities that will benefit athletes, students, and families for generations to come.
The online portal can be accessed
here. Donations of any size are appreciated and will be directly applied to funding this significant project. This online donation platform is provided through the Community Foundation of the Ozarks (CFO), of which the Education Foundation is an agency partner. The system charges a 3% processing fee, but does give you the opportunity to increase your donation to cover the cost of this fee. Donors may also choose to contribute by writing a check payable to the Education Foundation for Clinton Students, Inc.
All donations, whether made online or by check, are tax-deductible. Donors can contribute in 2024 or until January 15, 2025, allowing them to take advantage of tax deductions for two different tax years. Donations over $1,000 will be recognized on a donor wall at the complex, and naming opportunities for more significant gifts are also available. The complex is set to be completed and ready for the Spring 2026 season.
