• One Last Opportunity

If you were not able to attend the Town Hall Meetings that were held last week, we would like to offer one more opportunity for feedback.

Please click here to view the draft version of our 5-year Strategic Plan (please zoom in to improve the image clarity).

After viewing our draft plan, please provide your feedback through a 2-question survey.  Survey can be accessed by clicking here.  This survey will close Tuesday, April 24th.

This is the last opportunity for feedback before revisions are made and the plan is presented to the Board of Education for approval.

    Thank you in advance!

    115 Students Participate

For more than two decades, students at Clinton Technical School have been participating in Job Shadowing. Through this experience, students are matched with a business or organization that relates to a career path they are interested in. By spending time with this employer, students are able to gain a better understanding of what a job in that field entails. This experience allows students to decide which career path is the best fit for them.

This year, 115 students participated in this event. This includes students from Clinton High School as well as Clinton Technical School's eight other sending schools.

The Clinton Technical School is appreciative to all of our partners who participate and the opportunities they provide our students.

Go here to see pictures and list of partners who hosted students.

    2nd Graders Welcome Special Guests

You never know how much one small act of kindness will matter to someone!

Henry Elementary School 2nd graders in Mr. Olson's class recently sent letters of support, thanks and encouragement to the Johnson County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office was so touched by this gesture that they visited students to tell them "thank you". Students enjoyed hearing about their job, meeting their dog "Boss" and enjoying a mid-morning snack.

Thank you to Sheriff Munsterman and his deputies for taking time out of their busy day to spend some time with our Cardinals.

Eighteen Students Headed to Baltimore, MD

Clinton FBLA returned recently from the 2018 State Leadership Conference, where they represented our school and community well! Eighteen students will be advancing to nationals in Baltimore, MD later this year.

The conference was led by one of our very own Cardinals, Sadie Vernon, Missouri FBLA State President. The CSD is very proud of Sadie and her dedication to FBLA and the hard work she put into preparing for the conference.

We are excited to announce that another CHS student will serve as a state officer next year. Jade Schmedding will serve as the Missouri Vice-President of FBLA-PBL Relations.

The Clinton FBLA Chapter received the Gold Chapter of the Year Award and Outstanding Local Chapter Award.
