Meet Our Administrators

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year CHS Students and Families!

My name is Mrs. Jennifer (Jenny) Corson and I am honored and proud to serve the Clinton School District as the High Principal. I will be beginning my 21st yearcorson in education, 19 of which I have taught and served high school students. I hold a BSE in Early Childhood & Elementary Education, a Masters of Education and Education Specialist in K-12 Administration, and have completed coursework in the William Woods Doctorate of Education program. My husband Jake and I have two sons, Landon and Parker. Together we enjoy numerous sports and activities, lake time, board games, and movies.

At Clinton, the faculty and staff have a shared belief that all students can learn when they are a part of a positive school culture with high quality instruction. This year will be shaped by efforts that will allow students to pursue their interests and passions to be successful not only in school, but in life. Education and the way each individual student learns evolves over time; therefore, we will continue to adapt and change our approach, strategies, and procedures to provide the most effective learning environment possible for each individual student.

All of us at Clinton High School are eager to begin what promises to be the best year yet! This year is going to be amazing as we continue to provide academic experiences for our students that are rigorous, relevant, and help build relationships while making real-world connections. As your principal, it is important to me that everyone who steps through our doors is excited to be here and feels welcome! This attitude enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive and fun environment.

I look forward to working with you as a partner in your student's education. In the event of any questions or issues, please do not hesitate to call the High School Office at (660) 885-2247 to set up a meeting or email me at [email protected].

Proud to be a Clinton Cardinal,

Mrs. Jennifer Corson
Clinton High School Principal

Hello, Clinton Cardinals!

It is an honor to serve as the Assistant Principal at Clinton High School. This is my 14th year in education and my 5th year in the Clinton School District. I hold both a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Missouri State University. Most recently, Itownsend pic earned my Specialist Degree in Superintendency from William Woods University. Before joining the Clinton team, I taught in the Lebanon and Warsaw school districts.

A little about me personally: I’m married to Tim Townsend, who also teaches and coaches here in the district. Together, we have three wonderful children—Ainsley, Easton, and Axton. When we’re not working, you can usually find us enjoying time as a family by the pool or cheering on the Denver Broncos. We also love supporting Cardinal athletics and watching my husband coach.

As we look ahead to the school year, our continued focus will be on building strong, positive relationships with students and families, while maintaining the momentum and positive culture of our high school. I am excited to support and build on the great work Mrs. Corson has led at CHS.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need anything throughout the year.

With Cardinal Pride,

Jordan Townsend
