Deadline to Register to Vote: Wednesday, March 6, 2024
Election Day: Tuesday, April 2, 2024 (6:00 am-7:00 pm)
Absentee Voting: Begins Tuesday, February 20, 2024 (see below for more info on absentee voting)
Need To Register to Vote?
- Register online at this link.
- Register at the County Clerk's office (first floor of the Henry County Courthouse)
- Register by mail through a post-card registration application (postcards available at the County Clerk's office)
- Register at any Department of Motor Vehicles office, or state agency providing a service to the public (WIC, Social Services, etc)
Voting Registration Qualifications
- 18 years of age by April 2, 2024 (can register at 17 1/2)
- US Citizen
- Missouri Resident
Absentee Voting
Absentee voting begins on Tuesday, February 20th. Individuals can vote in the County Clerk's office (first floor of the Henry County Courthouse) or they may write a letter requesting that a ballot be mailed to them (last day to mail out an absentee ballot is March 30, 2024). Voting Locations
For residents of the Clinton School District the polling locations are listed below. If you are uncertain where your polling location is, please contact the Henry County Clerk's office at 660-885-7206.
- Urich Lion's Club (for those residing in Big Creek Township)
- Katy Trail Estates (for those living in Clinton Ward 1, south of Ward 1 into Clinton Township)
- Benson Center (for all others)
