Substitute Teachers/Nurses

SUBSTITUTE TEACHING INFORMATION
To substitute teach within the Clinton School District, you must be on file as a substitute teacher (an application packet can be found to the left or above on a mobile device). To be a substitute teacher, an applicant must have completed 36 hours of college credit OR complete 20 hours of online training. You can find more information about the 20 hours of online training here.

The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education requires all substitutes to apply for their own substitute certificates through the department's website, https://dese.mo.gov/educator-quality/certification/substitute-teachers

SUBSTITUTE NURSES (LPN OR RN) AND CROSSING GUARDS
In addition to substitute teachers and paraprofessionals, the Clinton School District utilizes substitutes for nursing staff and crossing guards.
